Spreed Inc. is a Toronto based technology company focused on finding the best ways of displaying text based content on personal computers and smart phones. Spreed Inc. presents a unique solution by delivering information through a proprietary reader module, resulting in a decrease of time required for the user to consume the information. Spreed Inc. is now focused on developing mobile applications for content providers, allowing them to take advantage of the award winning Spreed:News interface. Currently providing a White Label Application Service which is fully branded, automated and hosted. It allows publishers to easily and cost effectively build iPhone and Blackberry applications in a matter of days.
Designing the Spreed identity presented a unique challenge. The identity required a very structured system in order to cohesively market a body of closely related products and services - all of which needed to be visually connected through the Spreed brand. At the heart of the identity a symbol was designed which references optics and efficiency. The icon, used at both large and reduced sizes - in some cases 16 pixels - anchors the various services within the Spreed identity while also serving as a way-finding device for online applications.
A website was designed for the purpose of introducing the Spreed Mobile White Label application. The clean design of the website extends the minimalist and professional voice of the brand, while presenting an effective solution for the mobile global market.
